Software Engineer - 4 month Contract in Decision Management Systems

 

Work with our Scientists and Software Engineers using cutting-edge artificial intelligence techniques (swarm intelligence) for real-time scheduling and optimization. Develop applications using C++ and Java to do path planning and task allocation for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in intelligence-gathering missions.

 

The contractor's primary responsibilities would be interfacing our Java components with a third-party C++ library using JNI. This may involve simulating terrain, weather, and atmospheric data to be used as inputs to the library. Experience with JNI, Swing, and XML are required, and experience with ESRI's MapObjects Java library is a plus.
