Software Engineer C++

As a Software Engineer C++ with U.S. Bank, you will:Assimilate business specification documents Understand existing architecture and code Change existing code and develop new code to conform to the Specifications, Unit Test and work through the QA Cycle. Develop Software in C++ Server Side (Middle Layer) in a 3-Tiered Architecture with SQL Server as the backend. Have an opportunity to Learn DOTNET, C#, COM+ / ASP, ASP.NET / EDI, Mercator Technology /WebFocus in a 3-Tiered Architecture with SQL Server as the backend. We require: Exceptional technical, logical, analytical and problem solving skills with demonstrated ability to analyze technical information and work with a team spirit. BS in Computer Science or related discipline At least 2+ years exp in developing software products using Visual C++, Object-Oriented and Component-based technologies. At least 4+ years of overall development experience. Experience in Developing code using Visual C++ (Microsoft Platform) in a 3-Tiered Client Server or Web-Based Architecture. Experience in Developing Server Side Business Logic Code. Experience in writing code to communicate with Relational Database Management Systems (MS SQL or Oracle). DOT Net Experience Desirable Financial System or E-Commerce System development experience desired. That you are self-motivated with strong verbal and written skills, exceptional technical, logical, analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to analyze technical information and work with a team spirit.
