The Company:The company is a worldwide leader in the production of state-of-the-art medical equipment and treatment systems.
Function:
? Support the system integration and validation tests of controls and software systems.
? Support clinical activities by installation and test of control system enhancements, supervision of administration (IT, network, DB, backup and configuration control), performing of maintenance activities affecting control system.
? First line on-site support (system administration, troubleshooting, problems analysis and reporting, quick fix).
? Install and test the control system components with active support of company engineering team.
Essential Skills:
? Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Controls Engineering or Computer Sciences.
? Technical knowledge:Must Have:
o 2-3 years experience in C and C++.
o Good knowledge of UNIX environment.
o Good Knowledge of Rational ClearCase or other source control management software.
o Knowledge of Oracle or other SQL support system.
? Other Useful Skills:
o PLC and Control Systems Programming.
o Knowledge of Java, PLC Programming, VME technology.
o Other tools such as Siemens Step 7 PLCs, VxWorks and Siemens Simatic, SCADA.
o Network infrastructure (switch, hub, router, firewall, back-up, configuration control, etc.).
? Ability to perform moderately complex hardware and software troubleshooting.
? Ability to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities and time frames.
? Ability to interact positively with customers is necessary.
