Real-Time Embedded C/C++, VxWorks, HWIN, SLQ-32 EW System, Modeling & Simulation
Location: Naval Research Laboratory, Washington, D.C.
Status: Full-time employee
Clearance: U.S. citizenship required with ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Opportunity:
Position to support existing, funded contract with the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL), Electronic Warfare (EW) Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Branch developing simulations of Navy combat system to be used for EW analysis. Member of software development team responsible for developing and integrating software with Hardware In The Loop (HWIL) system. You will develop a combination HWIL-Digital simulation for the SLQ-32 Electronic Support system. You'll work in the customer?s facility with minimal on-site supervision.
Required:
B.S., Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
3+ years' Real-Time processing, embedded systems and/or HWIL development experience.
Electrical Engineering experience with strong Computer Science skills.
C/C++ programming experience.
U.S. citizenship requred with ability to obtain a SECRET clearance.
Desired:
Electrical Engineering background. RF Signal Processing experience.
SLQ-32 embedded systems development experience.
Experience with VxWorks.
HLA and or distributed simulation experience.
SECRET or TOP SECRET clearance.
