Software Engineering Team Lead

The Software Engineering Team Lead provides technical oversight and direction for 3-10 person development teams. Responsibilities include: Developing and delivering world class enterprise software and documentation, on time and with high quality. Detailed review of the code being written. Accountability for coordination of all work assigned to the Development Team throughout the software life cycle, to include; design, estimation, code and test. Providing high level estimates and detailed estimates of time needed to complete Story Cards Enabling team members in their responsibilities: resolving execution issues, assigning and prioritizing development tasks, coordinating development work. Drafting Story Card List based on requirements for a release. Working with theProject Manager to schedule Story Cards based on available resources. Working with Architects to escalate and make high-level design and architectural decisions. Leading daily progress review meetings (Stand-ups). Communicating horizontally to other team global leads.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. Experience in full product lifecycle. Demonstrated ability working effectively with global teams. Experience leading technical teams. You must be willing to take a drug test. You must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including for example, verification of your past employment, criminal history, and educational background.

Desired:
Advanced degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. Prior experience in the clinical IT industry. Excellent influence skills. Strong communication skills. Strong process improvement experience.
