Software Help Desk Manager

We are a leading software company within our industry with several offices around the world.  We have an opening in our Las Vegas office for a Software Help Desk Manager.

 

This position manages our Software Support Department which consists of approximately 40+ employees. Our software support department is a call center environment that is open 24 hours/7 days a week to address the technological needs of our customers.  This position reports into the Vice President of Customer Service. 

 

The basic function of this position is as follows:

To facilitate the profitable operations of the Software Support department, ensuring professional representation and consistent delivery of services to customers, both internal and external.  Primary emphasis on customer communication and satisfaction during any customer interaction with the Software Support department.  Provide timely and accurate problem resolutions to customer base.

 

Requirements:

We are looking for someone that has software support managerial experience.  High school diploma required, college degree desirable.  Candidates must have basic computer skills with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.  The ability to learn Call Tracking software is also a requirement.  This position requires excellent inter-personal skills, a customer service attitude and the ability to manage and motivate a staff.  Candidates must be able to manage the pressure of balancing customer needs with managing a staff effectively.  Communication skills (both oral & written and training skills) are essential to this position.
