Key Responsibilities:

 

Responsible for ensuring that software implements the functionality specified and that it performs as expected from the customer?s perspective.
Responsible for scheduling assigned tasks, and updating team and manager on progress.
Responsible for ensuring all deliverables are high quality. Quality is defined as contributing to solutions that deliver a high quality end-to-end customer experience with a high degree of compliance with business and technical requirements, software architecture/design documents, and product and process documentation.

 Qualifications:

- BS/MS in Computer Science or similar
- 2+ years of experience as a software engineer and/or QA Engineer testing software applications.
- Experience with the Windows OS and Microsoft SQL is a plus
- Software testing fundamentals including the concepts of both positive and negative testing is a plus
- Hands on experience with tools and technologies needed to perform job such as test planning and execution tools and defect tracking tools is a plus
- Understanding of software testing processes and standards and the tools needed to carry out assigned tasks  is a plus.
