Software Quality Analyst

TracFone Wireless is currently seeking a Software Quality Analystto carry out Quality Assurance procedures to ensure that all information systems meet Tracfone's standards and business requirements.  Performs the testing software to certify that new applications fully meet requirements, participates in the design phase of project initiatives, builds business requirements vs. Tests Cases Matrix and develops test plan and implements automated tools scripts.

 

Responsibilities:
Participate in the project's design phase for the purpose of understanding the business requirements, identifies Temp Tester resource requirements, negotiates with Project Management Office (PMO) QA cycle and test schedule, supervises and schedules the work of SQA Testers and Temp testers assigned to the Project.
Superior customer interaction skills to interface with Business Owners and PMO resources and to have the ability to analyze results, draw conclusions from test results and make recommendations.
Implements automated tools scripts that will be used to test the functionality and quality of products as well as fill regreesion testing, using Mercury's test suite as well as Empirix's Hammer Call Master.
Builds business requirements vs tests cases Matrix and develops test plan, Test Scripts and automated tools scripts that wuill be used to test the functionality and quality of products.

 

Requirements:
Bachelors Degree related field.
Two to Three years of experience in the Information Technology or Quality Assurance field.
Prior experience with IT software systems development and working with automated test tools; i.e. Mercury Test Suite and Hammer Call Master.
Prior experience as QA Lead for projects and with develiping, analysing and producing quality assurance test plans and performance metrics.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in writing test plans, test scripts and cases. 
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability, statisitcal inference, the ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Bilingual, English and Spanish preferred.
The ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
The ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
