Software Quality Engineer-TUCSON AZ

Software Quality Assurance Engineer: TUCSON AZ-No Per Diem or Relocation offered.

Candidate needs to be knowledgeable of the general assurance practices related to Software development activities. This position will participate as an advocate in assuring Product Software Development processes are capable and effective, and the appropriate Product Development activities are planned, documented and executed to satisfy Regulatory and Customer requirements, as well as designated internal requirements, for Product Quality and Safety.

Primary function will be the performance of Project Audits to assure artifacts are completed per the project's defined process and assure compliance to the defined processes for different phases of development.

- General knowledge/experience in Software Quality Assurance required with specific knowledge/experience of DO-178B.
- Specific experience in Software development desirable
- Quality Engineer/Auditor Certification a plus

BSCS/5 yr experience
