Software Sales-Pre Sales

Job Purpose:

 

? Qualify every lead through following company established policies and practices

? Work with the sales and marketing teams to coordinate and attend trade shows on behalf of the company

? Work with prospective clients to perform an initial demonstration of the respective solution that will fit that customers needs.

 

Responsibilities:

 Responsible to learn each solution?s functionality features and benefits to be able to qualify prospects to the appropriate software.Work and qualify all sales leads per established practices and proceduresInitial contact with each leadConduct brief business analysis with each leadMail follow up material as requested by leadConduct initial product demonstration when lead is determined qualified through using either on line or on site demosFollow up with open leads until closed or transitioned to account managerOngoing mailing/contact to prospects who did not initially purchaseWork with account managers to ensure a smooth transition from lead to prospective clientInput all leads and follow up in CRMTrack the status of all leads and respective reportingAssist with and attend association meetingsAttend occasional trade shows to help to set up/take down equipment as well as talk to current and potential customersAssist with some of the customer demos/training at corporate officesOther things as assigned
