Test Coordinator Job Description:

-Responsible for the implementation of the organization, infrastructure, methodology, and metrics of Quality Control (Testing) for a suite of applications.

-This includes smoke testing, Unit integration testing, Systems integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing. This covers both the development and production environment.

-The test coordinator has responsibility for all testing outcomes in their assigned area.

-Develops Quality Control Plan of a suite of applications. Including organization, infrastructure, methodology, and metrics.

-Oversees the implementation of the Quality Control Plan

-Approves all Test plans

-Reviews and approves all test outcomes

-Reviews Metrics and makes adjustments to achieve goals

-Marginal or Peripheral Functions

-Executes test plans

 

Required Qualifications:

-7 to 10 years Structured Application Testing Experience

-Experience with Automated work tools in the Mercury suite

-Knowledge and experience in executing the V-Model

-Experience in developing an automated testing environment

--Understanding of the project technology.

-Understanding of Microsoft Project, Lotus Notes, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel

-Knowledge of Data Masking

 

 

In addition, this requirement has a Information Security component:

-Knowledge of Application Security concepts (Authentication, Authorization, Provisioning, Input Validation, Encryption, Buffer Overflows, etc)

-Familiarity with OWASP (Open Web Application Security Project) practices and methodologies.

-Understanding of Secure Coding Practices and Software Development Lifecycles that involve "test driven development" (TDD) projects
