Software Systems Analyst-Unified Process

This position is expected to participate in the full lifecycle of software projects, including development of user requirements and IT operating procedures, instructions, training and required documentation.

The three primary areas of responsibility for this function are:

 * Product Development

 * Product Support

 * Continuous Process Improvement

The Systems Analyst will work with the software development and project management teams to:

 * Perform requirements definition and develop system specifications

 * Design and review system interfaces and data structures

 * Develop, support and implement best practices for Software Development

Additional responsibilites may include:

 * Act as a primary technical contact and interface for major subsystems

 * Participate in project work estimates and schedule planning

 * Assist in architectural & cost analysis, technology selection, design & simulation

 * Participate in and/or lead system level activities such as Integration Test & Controlled Deployment

 * Provide lifecycle support for released product

 * Assist in identifying promising technologies and product applications

Qualified candidate will have

 * Knowledge of and experience with the Unified Process & Use Case Driven Development

 * 2+ years of Object Oriented system analysis experience

 * Above-average communication skills

 * Excellent group facilitation skills

 *UML design tool experience

Outstanding candidates will also have

 * Specific exerience with Enterprise Architect or Rational Rose & Rational Requisite Pro

 * Knowledge of the entertainment industry

 * Payroll & Accounting experience

 * Knowledge and experience with intranet/extranet technology domains deploying a diverse variety of technologies
