Software Technical Trainer

The primary responsibility is to train customers on the proper use of the ARGIS software system and help them realize the benefits of the package through implementing successful processes. Training is delivered in various mediums (Onsite, Web, CBT, etc?) and requires frequent travel. Secondary responsibilities include following up with customers after their initial training to help them be successful and aiding in the creation of supporting training materials.

Responsibilities:Be able to learn the ARGIS software program, to the point of becoming an expert. Be able to develop a familiarity with the workings of the automobile industry (Dealership Service Departments). Travel to the customers? location and teach onsite courses (Typically 2 to 5 days per customer). Deliver training in various mediums, such as: Onsite classes, Webinars, Online classes, CBT, Written, Video, etc... Teach basic computer skills to individuals as needed. Provide 1 to 1 On the Job Training. Provide feedback from customers that will enhance the usability and functionality of the software package. Handle the minor glitches that arise with the complexities of newly implemented networks such as; wireless problems, setting up printers, etc?

Requirements:Strong interpersonal skills, including but not limited to; being patient with customers with basic computer skills, listening to the customers? entire question and concern before answering them appropriately, etc? Degree in automotive technology or Adult education or 4 years training experience or ASE Certified or Service Advisor/Consultant or Software training experience in the Automotive Industry is a plus. Flexible to travel as needed (75% - 95%). Moderate to advanced skills with Windows XP and Wireless Networking. Basic understanding of databases and networking principles. Must be flexible, adaptive, and creative with the ability to work diverse customers and co-workers. Sufficient credit to cover Hotel, Rental Car and per diem expenses upfront (to be reimbursed).

Work Environment and Physical Demands:General office and shop environment; professional appearance and presentation required. Able to travel as needed.
