Software Test Technician

Only motivated, detail oriented, and reliable individuals need apply for this 30-40 hours/week position.  Interested candidates must have experience with computer hardware and software, exhibit attention to detail, and be able to work under pressure and juggle multiple activities, without sacrificing accuracy. 

 

OSR (www.osr.com) is a small, very busy software consulting firm.  We need someone who fits the above description and can make an immediate impact.   Under the direction of the Engineering Test Lead, candidate?s responsibilities include:  

 Running automated and manual testsInstalling Microsoft Windows, including finding and installing device drivers for non-standard  hardware componentsInstalling and removing basic hardware components in a PC such as hard drives, network cards, storage adapters, video cards, monitors, and keyboardsRunning/monitoring system backups Entering problems found into bug tracking systemResponding to customer reported issuesReproducing customer reported issuesOther duties as assigned
