Software Testing Engineer

Software Testing Engineer Responsibilities Include: Iteratively generates and maintains test plans that provide the optimal coverage based on project constraints, (this covers clinical validation, functional verification and performance.) Iteratively generates and maintains test cases and traceability matrix for the project, (this covers clinical validation, functional verification and performance.) Accountable for quality delivery of stories into production.Provides timely status, metrics and issues to Technical Lead & Project Manager. Communicates defects and needed enhancements to Developers as they occur. Improve test cycle duration through the use of an automated testing tool. Ensures Test Cases delivered cover entire scope of stories delivered. Ensures Project Team understands testing process and error documentation.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. Experience with technical software. Demonstrated testing skills & experience. Experience in full product lifecycle. Demonstrated experience working effectively with global teams. Experience in process management. You must be willing to take a drug test. You must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including for example, verification of your past employment, criminal history, and educational background.

Desired:
Advanced degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. Prior experience in the clinical IT industry. Expertise with the Mercury Interactive testing tools. Strong influence skills. Effective communication skills.
