Software Tools Engineer

This job involves the design and development of state of the art software tools for application performance analysis. The applicant will be responsible for developing and testing software to identify performance
bottlenecks in parallel high performance computing applications, and to develop techniques and tools to find software solutions to these bottlenecks. The work will involve extensive software modeling of hardware
architecture and manipulation of the application program organization, both at the source and binary level.

Qt GUI Design and Programming - Can give expert advice and lead others to perform. Java development- Limited ability to performand has conceptual knowledge only. C/C++ Tool Development - Can give expert advice and lead others to perform. MPI Parallel Application Development - Can perform with assistance and has applied knowledge. OpenMP Parallel Application Development - Can perform with assistance and has applied knowledge. Modern Microprocessor Architecture - Can give expert advice and lead others to perform. Fortran Application Development - Can perform with assistance and has applied knowledge.
Linux Programming Environment - Can give expert advice and lead others to perform. AIX Programming Environment - Can give expert advice and lead others to perform. Binary Programming (ELF and XCOFF)- Can perform without assistance. Has in-depth knowledge.
