Solution Manager

The Automotive Aftermarket Solution Manager is responsible for the design and delivery of the Automotive Aftermarket Solution for WebSphere Product Center. Duties include translating market requirements into detailed solution requirements; leading solution design (leveraging product architects); documenting solution components; working closely with the development team to ensure solution is delivered to spec and on time; collaborating with marketing on communication, enablement activities and collateral; enabling sales and services teams to win and implement customers successfully; working closely with prospects and beta customers to ensure referenceability. Candidates must be high energy, be able to think out of the box, demonstrate passion for solving customer business problems, and have engaging and collaborative personalities. Major Field of Study: Computer Science/Management Information Services or related. Requirements include: Able to translate market requirements into technical solution requirements; Strong communication skills, both written and oral; Able to manage solution delivery process and track progress against goal; Able to build credibility quickly with customers and prospects; Strong leadership qualities; Must have an engaging personality, high energy, enthusiastic; Self Starter/Motivator; Working knowledge of Aftermarket Automotive Standards. Desired Skills
Experience developing and/or implementing enterprise software solutions on time and to customer expectations
Deep MDM product experience, preferably WebSphere Product Center; Automotive experience, specifically in the Aftermarket Segment IBM; Experience with Automotive Aftermarket Standards (ACES/PIES); Experience working with sales, implementation teams and customers.
