Job Title:   Solutions Consultant

Department: Client Services

Reports To:   Manager, Solutions Consulting

FLSA Status: Exempt

 

POSITION SUMMARY: Provides support of Implementation, Sales and Product Development efforts through assessment and recommendations based on best practices standards from the CVIS arena.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned.

IMPLEMENTATION AND CVKC PROJECTS:

A Solutions Consultant is assigned to each implementation team and provides the definition and specification of required changes needed to:Make Apollo an integral part of the customers daily work flow Provide a better product faster that meets the customer?s needs in support of their site specific goals and objectives Provide a specification for customization of forms, tables, views, patient reports (in MS Word), statistical reports for production, chargeable items and outcomes Assists the customer in developing a CVIS strategic plan for three to five years in support of their site-specific goals and objectives

 

PRODUCT MANAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT:

Solutions Consultant personnel will be assigned to specific development projects for software and interfaces.  The role is to be data-gatherer and fact-finder to provide the requirements for building products that fit the needs of our customer base and general support for roll-out of new products as follows:Provide high-level functional requirements document Interview site representatives to collect data for development of product Compile data from all designated sites into data matrix for reference Assist in beta site identification Assist in coordination of software release to beta sites Provide timely update reports to Product Management Participate in review process for transition to development

 

SALES SUPPORT:

Solutions Consultants are tasked with the support of sales projects as deemed necessary by sales management.  This support is provided to accomplish any or all of the following objectives:Provide detailed client requirements to include effort needed to meet the customer?s needs

Improve LUMEDX understanding of the customer?s long terms goals and objectives Provide a strategic plan that will assist the customer in achieving those goals Provide the customer with recommendations to apply best practices for Apollo while implementing it

 

OTHER:

Provide guidance and recommendations for internal process development in support of departmental and interdepartmental methodologies for delivery of CSO services.

 QUALIFICATIONS:

? Bachelor?s degree from an accredited college or university and four years job-related experience, or a combination of education and experience.

? Experience in Apollo application in a clinical environment or other equivalent experience a plus.

? Cardiovascular clinical knowledge or lab experience.

? Project management experience.

 

COMMUNICATION SKILLS:

? Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

? Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical information.

?Demonstrated ability to compose clear and concise technical written communication.

 



COMPUTER SKILLS:

?  Demonstrated proficiency with personal computers in a Windows environment including word processing and spreadsheet applications.

? High proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and other related software programs preferred. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods of time, operate a personal computer, visually inspect forms, conduct oral communication via telephone and in person, retrieve and return files in storage cabinets, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
