Sr Analyst (0747)

Job Description: Basic Function: The Items Processing Capture and Imagining Systems Department of Central Technology is looking for a Senior Analyst to provide technical analysis, design and development, as well as implementation work for various applications within assigned client environments.

Responsibilities:
*Supports Unix and Windows-based distributed check and image processing applications and associated hardware
* Evaluates hardware/software needs and recommends purchases
*  Manages hardware/software installations, and coordinates vendor problem escalation
* Supports system and integrated system testing of large projects; prepares project plans
*  Manages vendor hardware/software installations

Basic Qualifications:
* Minimum of five to seven years distributed computing system support experience
* Systems programming experience with UNIX
* Systems programming experience with Windows Servers
* Previous experience implementating complex hardware/software installations
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ideal Qualifications:
* Check and imaging processing application experience (i.e, NCR Imagemark Archive, ImageMark POD, Remote Check Capture)
*  Familiarity with VectorSGI image capture products for Prime Pass, Rescan and Image Exchange
