Sr. Applications Programmer: VB, SQL Sever

You will be working in a fast growing company developing and implementing business, financial and CRM systems in a fast paced healthcare (Dental) manufacturing environment using MS SQL Server and Visual Basic/VB Studio, VBA, etc. You will also be collaborating with an internal Software Development Team in maintaining automated CAD/CAM design tools. Other contributions will involve user interface development and deployment in web based environments and implementation of automated reporting tools. You must be able to work effectively in a diverse team environment and also be successful working independently. To be effective and successful at Atlantis you need be organized in managing multiple concurrent projects and be able to change gears rapidly. Strong verbal and written communication skills are also required. You should be educated with at minimum a BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or an equivalent analytical discipline and you need to be a creative problem solver. You will be involved with the entire project life cycle from developing specifications, developing and customizing the systems, documenting the customizations and implementation. You will assist with the development and creation of standards, version controls and patch and upgrade maintenance.

Qualifications :
, Required Work Experience: • 10+ years experience in a software development environment • Experience with software development lifecycle management • Demonstrated project management experience from user specification to product delivery and documentation. • Software development involving user interface design and automation with Visual Basic and SQL. • Strong MSSQL database management and development experience. • Demonstrated prior experience developing complex data structures and queries using MS SQL including proper database design, performance monitoring and tuning for optimal index placement and proper coding of stored procedures. Required Technical Skills: • Microsoft Visual Basic, Visual Basic 6, or VBA (10+ years) • Advanced T-SQL, MSSQL 2000, Stored Procedures, database design (8+ years) • Strong communication and documentation skills • Experience with version control and software release implementation. Desired Experience & Technical Skills: • Prior programming experience in a manufacturing environment • Experience in implementing ERP/MRP/CRM type software solutions, INFOR/MAPICS Syteline solutions a plus • Microsoft Visual C++ or other C-code applications • Crystal Reports (v.9+) • VB.NET, ASP, ADO.NET or other web interface development technologies • Experience in software systems integration with commercial web based solutions • Experience in implementing statistical analysis tools • Cognos Reporting Tools • Experience working in a fast paced manufacturing environment • Familiarity working with industrial engineering, ergonomics, and usability concepts • Familiarity with ISO 9001, CE and FDA regulations as well as working within these types of regulated organizations For immediate consideration please email:
