Sr. Asp.net (ver 1.1) Developer

Expert: Skills equiv. to 11+ yrs in comparable position or obtained specialized certificate, thus skill level considered highly specialized

Group Overview:
Support applications on various technology platforms: mainframe, J2EE and .NET.
The position is for an application which runs on WebLogic/Linux platform using Oracle. It interfaces with a mainframe backend.

Position Responsibilities:
The individual will be a developer responsible for the analysis, coding, testing, documentation and implementation of the development. He/She will work closely with the project team and other technology organizations to design and implement quality system solutions that meet business requirements and are consistent with the overall technical strategy.

Technical Qualifications:
This position requires advanced hands-on development skills of the following:
? ASP.NET 1.1 (Knowledge of version 2.0 is a plus)
? .NET Framework 1.1 (Knowledge of version 2.0 or 3.0 is a plus)
? Windows SharePoint Services 2.0 (WSS) (Knowledge of WSS 3.0 is a plus)
? Office SharePoint 2003 (Knowledge of 2007 is a plus)
? C#
? Oracle
? Object Oriented Design

This position also requires working with offshore at off hours (not on a daily basis but perhaps twice a week). The individual will need to be a team player, flexible, and excellent communication skills to interact with business partners and offshore resources. A successful candidate should have 11+ years in comparable position in development, the ability to analyze complex business & system requirements and provide detailed design and technical solutions to meet the business requirements. The candidate will develop software designs, complete coding and testing, prepare software components for installation, and support all phases of the development lifecycle. Knowledge of Schwab systems, RUP methodology and/or Mutual Fund Trading is a plus.
