Responsibilities:Project lead from pre-emulation to silicon production Port chipset code prior to emulation Board bring-up during emulation Design and implement System BIOS chipset customizations Help train and mentor junior engineers to become senior engineersMinimum Requirements:Senior BIOS Engineer with minimum 5+ years of experience. College degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science One or both of the following: Minimum 2 years experience porting the BIOS to a new memory controller (North Bridge) Minimum 2 years experience porting the BIOS to a new chipset (South Bridge) BIOS Standards: Familiar with ACPI, SMM, PCI, PnP, PCI-Express, JEDEC DDR Standards Debuggers: Familiar with use of In-Circuit Emulators, Logic Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Windows Kernel Debugger PC architecture knowledge ? a must. Excellent x86 assembly language skills.Preferred Experience:Windows driver debugging experience Flash programming USB expertise highly desirable.EOE
