Sr. Business Analyst

Project/Responsibilities: This candidate will be responsible for gathering business requirements. Person will ensure functional needs of business partners are met.  Translates business needs into technical requirements and ensures all systems support and conform to the business needs and specifications.  Responsible for following the Six Sigma DMAIC process, interfacing with clients, developing detail requirement documentation, leading JAD sessions and understanding the entire process such that they can develop/create the best solution.

 -  Gather and define business and functional requirements from the business.
 -  Analyze current system and process gaps in context of new business and functional.
 -  Conduct business assessment activities.
 -  Actively involved in high level estimates and scoping.
 -  Acquire and institutionalize business knowledge to team.
 -  Document functional and operational impacts to associates and customers.
 -  Assist in completion and documentation of designs (functional and technical).
 -  Provide expert knowledge on assigned application(s), functionality and associate/customer
 processes.
 -  Develop expert knowledge on business processes, rules, and regulations.
 -  Document the interaction of data, functions and business processes for selected functionality.

 

Required Skills: (years & skill set)

7+ years experience with Business Requirements
5+ years developing requirements around large scale Java Applications
Previous experience supporting business unit or customer
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
