Sr. Director - Quality & Process

The Sr. Director - Quality & Process will develop, implement, and oversee process improvement techniques used to provide sustained improvement to critical business processes. The Sr. Director - Quality & Process works as part of the senior management team to identify areas of improvement, create projects, gather resources to work on projects, manages and tracks the progress of projects to support company's short and long-range business objectives. The incumbent will consult with management regarding process, tools, and people performance issues and will help managers develop skills in developing performance standards and metrics and remove barriers that impede processes, organization, and individual staff members' performance. Consistent with BSG strategy, will ensure we create a culture of excellence and launch requite improvement initiatives to establish/sustain ICI as a best in class performer with client, partners and associates. Establish processs governance and assist in the creation of performance metrics, reporting and improvement targets for ICI. Drives culture change to instill focus on fact-based management practices. Identifies and eliminates or mitigates major cost of poor quality processes. Reduces defects with the goal of becoming defect-free. Continuously improves company's organizational capabilities to achieve process quality as part of project execution, including an awareness of the need to "do it right the first time." Increases standardization of work processes. Supports project teams in process quality activities by educating, coaching and mentoring others on process improvement philosophy, tools and application. Trains, mentors, and certifies associates in quality practices.


Master's Degree in Engineering or Management preferred. Six Sigma Black Belt certification or equivalent experience. At least 5 years experience in Quality Assurance should be combined with a demonstrated track-record of accomplishments as a Quality Assurance Manager, and with satisfying customers in technology-driven, developing companies. Process and Performance Improvement Required. Oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and superior organizational abilities. Ability to take initiative, to maintain confidentiality, to meet deadlines, and to work in a team environment essential. Project management. Producing enduring, cost-effective solutions to business problems. Benchmarking. Ability to persuade through consensus building. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. PC-based computing experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is essential.
