As a Senior Engineer you will be responsible for research and development in the evolving multidisciplinary research in the field of human machine interaction with the potential to develop new computation and processing models and tools for AV(multimedia) applications. Special interest and focus include application of these novel signal processing models in the design of Sony's next generation consumer electronic products.

Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering, computer science or other related fields in human perception and psychology with up to  2-3 years of related work experience. Must have a strong background in fundamentals of signal processing, compression and/or human machine interface. Must have strong communication and presentation skills. Must be able to work independently and in a team environment and possess excellent interpersonal skills. Familiarity with International multimedia compression standards is desired. Basic computing and programming skills in c/c++, matlab required. Ability to travel internationally and domestically as needed.
