Charter:
The primary focus of this position is to assist the Export Program Manager with establishing and maintaining an export control infrastructure consisting of employee education and training, operational processes, export licensing/classification, deemed export compliance, compliance screening, export documentation, product registration, audit and government reporting procedures to minimize and or prevent revenue loss associated with exporting and re-exporting of BEA and third-party products, services and technology.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Execute BEA's US export operational processes and procedures.
Provide information and training to insure that all BEA departments involved in distribution of products and services understand US Export Regulations as it relates to their role.
Maintain Export Compliance approval queue and support WW Order Management team with export compliance escalations.
Manage incoming e-mail from external and internal customer regarding export compliance escalations.
Keep detailed records of LOA and End User statements.
Work with BEA's third party export compliance vendor to maintain effective export compliance screening processes.
Work closely with BEA's fulfillment house to insure distribution processes meet current regulatory requirements.
Keep informed of changes to the US Gov. export regulations and understand probable impact on company activities and new product development.
Assist with assigning proper export classification and Harmonized Tariff Codes to new products.
Assist with preparing and filing of required reports with the BXA, DOC as required.
Request CCATS classification from the US Government.
Provide Export Classification to customers.
With work with our International Freight Forwarder to coordinate shipments.
Assist in the development and maintenance of Distribution and OMSC metrics.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
Must have expert knowledge of export management systems
Good understanding of US Export Laws as it relates to US exports and Exports of US technology from distribution sites outside of the US
Positive attitude and proactive approach
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Must be able to work independently
Very detail oriented, excellent follow-up skills and customer service orientation

Skills/Experience:
Minimum 2 years of direct and related operational experience required.
Experience with U.S. Customs Regulations is a must
Must be proficient at PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
Knowledge of PeopleSoft a plus
Previous experience in a software environment desirable

Education:
Degree and courses in related fields preferred.
