Sr. Integration Engineer

Entriq is a leading provider of security and pay media services to the biggest digital content producers in the world including Major League Baseball, NBC, MTV and World Wrestling Entertainment. Entriq?s services and network span across the globe including North America, Europe, Africa and Asia.

 

We are looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented and multi-skilled Senior Integration Engineer with proven experience in the development of advanced interactive web applications. The candidate must exhibit excellent communication skills and be able to concisely and effectively convey technical concepts to clients. The Senior Integration Engineer will be responsible for the integration of client web applications with Entriq services through a diverse set of web-based APIs as well as the development of extensions to core services as required by the client?s business needs. The position also requires the development and management of tools pivotal to our 24x7 service environment

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

? Integration and customization support of Entriq Service API?s

? Train customers on use of Entriq configuration tools and API?s

? Customization and maintenance of Entriq?s web based player framework

? Interface extensively with customers, trouble tracking and resolution

? Configuration of Entriq Billing, Customer Care and Security Service tools

? Develop and maintain sample integration code libraries

? Define, document and maintain Entriq integration operating procedures and Developers guide

? Provide Technical knowledge and consultation on Internet and Digital Media Security using DRM, Access Control

? Development of Entriq Service Extensions

? Identify, define and implement operational efficiency improvements

? Participate in QA testing of pre-production code releases

? Verify, document and manage report of software bugs

? Create and maintain software release documentation

? Interface with Engineering and Sales teams

? Communicate and provide regular status reports to Management.

? Provide on-call support for Entriq?s 24x7 environment

? Perform management and maintenance of servers and associated operating systems including installation, upgrades, enhancements, audits, data backups, preventative maintenance, process billing and items on daily checklist

? Communicate and provide regular status, performance and operational reports to Management

? Work closely with the development engineering team to ensure timely resolution of bug fixes.

? Build and manage relationships with internal and external organizations

? Will require periodic domestic and international travel

? Carry an on-call pager and/or mobile phone and respond quickly to emergency situations.

? All other related responsibilities as necessary

? Design, Develop and Test Product Extensions and Services as necessary

? Candidate is required to track time for each customer implementation

? Leads and trains other Integration Engineers

? May be required to work off-hours, weekend or holidays to accomplish clients needs

 

Position Requirements:

 

? Minimum 3-5 years software of development experience in a Web environment including HTML and DHTML using Javascript and server-side ASP.NET and/or JSP (J2EE) technologies

? Bachelor?s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent, related experience

? Minimum 2-3 years developing and interfacing with XML and XML-based technologies including XSLT and XML Schema

? Strong working knowledge of web services using either XML over HTTP or SOAP.

? Minimum 2-3 years programming with C# and/or Java

? Experience with digital streaming media (Windows Media and Real) required

? Strong Experience with core design, development and test practices and standards such as UML, OOD, RAD, design patterns and unit testing

? Experience working in a High Availability, high-volume computing environment

? Considerable experience interfacing with clients, including requirements gathering, technical consultation and technical support

? Considerable experience developing transactional based ecommerce applications.

? Experience with supporting Web applications using IIS, Apache or other Web Servers

? Excellent knowledge of internet networking, management and security protocols

? Experience with SQL Server and/or Oracle databases, SQL and stored procedures desired

? Strong cross-platform development skills

? Demonstrated ability to handle/organize multiple complex technical projects simultaneously and previous success in communicating technical concepts from novice to highly technical audiences required.

? Worked in a Professional Services environment a plus.
