We are growing fast and we have an immediate need for a Senior Java Developer to develop internet-centric applications in fast-paced RAD environment.

 

Responsibilities include:

 

Configure and maintain development environments across multiple projects

Participate actively with Product Management in definition and design

Translate high level business requirements into specific solutions

Perform data, system, environment, business, and system analysis

Design modular approaches that can easily be enhanced

Test code under all scenarios, creating test plans and documentation

 

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

 

Minimum 5 years of application development through complete lifecycle in a fast-paced start-up environment.

 

Ability to analyze and understand complex relational database designs and to demonstrate

in-depth understanding and experience working with:

 

Java Servlets/JSPs

MVC patterns (e.g. Struts and Tiles)

HTML/JavaScript/CSS

XML technologies and Web Services

Linux (Red Hat/SUSE)

Oracle 9i/10g / SQL

 

Additional Preferred Experience:

 

Multi-threaded application design

ORM (e.g., Hibernate)

UML and design patterns

Light-weight container framework (e.g., Spring)

Shell Scripting

Websphere MQ

Websphere Application Server

Vignette Application Portal

Vignette Content Management

JBOSS

Maven

Perforce

Cryptographic Algorithms (AES/3DES/PKI)

 

Excellent communication, problem solving and analytical skills

 

B.S./M.S. in C.S. or related field.
