Sr. Java / J2EE Software Development Engineer

Description:

Position will employ leading edge technologies and requires work to be performed with minimal direction.

Candidate must be a self-starter, possess a can-do attitude and be able to clearly articulate direction and decisions.

In addition to displaying a keen sense of ownership, candidate must work effectively as part of a team.

Successful candidate will be familiar with both server and client side architectures with a strong proficiency in design and implementation, and have product-focused experience in near real-time, event-driven systems development.

Qualifications:
o BSCS with a minimum of 8 years of Software Development experience is required
o Proven experience delivering large scale, commercial J2EE-based products.
o Recent concentration in thin client development is critical.
o Hands-on exp in Java, J2EE, WebSphere Application Server, JMX, Spring FW, JUnit and Linux.
o Experience with Avaya Telephony, Messaging, Conferencing and IBM RAD are definite pluses.
o Excellent oral & written skills.
