POSITION OVERVIEW:

Sr. Software Manager with 10+ years of experience developing software applications in a UNIX environment using C++.
?Manage a development group responsible for developing the Panorama EMS product.
?Plan, lead, and execute the full development lifecycle.
?Provide technical and administrative leadership.
?Contribute to identification of alternatives, review feasibility and alternatives studies, and system architecture, with individual project and/or team lead responsibility across engineering disciplines.
?Management activities include hiring, preparation/delivery of performance reviews, budgeting and resources planning.
?Contribute to and/or lead continuing process improvements. Excellent oral and written communication skills required.




QUALIFICATIONS:

?10 or more years of Software Management experience
?C++ programming and debugging experience with Element Management Systems required
?Must have EMS development and management experience, preferably using Solaris in a telecommunications application
?5 or more years of object-oriented analysis and design experience
?Oracle Database experience required
?Experience using Design Patterns in real applications
BS required, Masters Preferred
