Sr. PHP Application Programmer/Developer

Miracom Network, the leader in information management and remote monitoring solutions for the multi-billion dollar print management industry, is looking for Application Programmers with multiple years of experience and/or a Computer Science degree.

Miracom Network is rapidly expanding the functional capabilities of its most recent application, and requires a dedicated resource, to meet aggressive and immediate development deadlines.

The candidates will be key members of a software development team defining and delivering a new best of breed software application to the print industry.

This is a full time position. The candidate must be able to demonstrate both technical competence and a proven track record of accomplishments.

Required Skills:

The Candidate should posses a strong background in writing object oriented programming languages in complex web applications with an equally strong understanding of databases. Experience with large application planning, use cases and architecture is highly important. A very strong understanding of web technologies is a must with a large emphasis on HTML and PHP. A background of thorough documentation and disciplined coding practices is required.

Desired Skills:

You will be working on Linux, so familiarity in working with open source products (Apache, Postfix, Postgres, Subversion,, etc.) is preferred. Experience with Python is a plus.

Excellent communication skills are a must! Creativity and dedication is recognized, encouraged, and rewarded. Good organizational skills and a strong work ethic will be paramount to a long term relationship.
