Sr. Product Manager - Security, PKI

Duties : * Working with the Symantec Sales and Support team to explain security component functionality, architecture and deployment.
* Working with the Symantec Sales team to respond to RFI's and RFP's.
* Participate in customer POC's of products integrating with Security
* At regular intervals, do a TOI to support and SE's to explain new features in Security deployment
* May act as team lead or technical lead for a large portion of or an entire project.
* Work with EPM and development team on prioritizing market requirements
* May assist in setting technical product direction by analyzing industry trends, competitive information and product requirements.
* Has the ability to work on, prioritize and manage multiple assignments and projects.
*Work with SWIFT lab in testing various VxSS deployment modes as part of integration with various products
*Help in troubleshooting AT/AZ problems reported by customers and helping them setup Security in their production environments.

* Works with little or no supervision. Is able to take general direction and formulate specific tasks to accomplish the desired end result.

 

Requirements :

Candidate should have excellent security background, especially in PKI. Ideal candidate will have good knowledge of storage products
Candidate should be proficient in scripting with Perl and shell scripts. Should be proficient in working on a variety of Operating systems (Windows, Solaris, Linux, AIX, HP).
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Should be able to work with customers security administrators in order to understand their security environment and recommend a solution. Understanding of HIPAA, SOX, GLB or any other compliance regulations a definite plus.
