Sr. QA Engineer (Windows) - San Mateo, CA

Summary:

Play an important role ensuring both quality software deliverables from system and application levels of a hosted enterprise solution based on Microsoft technology stack. Play a key role ensuring functional quality and helping review processes throughout the entire SDLC (design through final build and release). Work with QA Manager to design test cases (functional and system/workflow and rules engine-level) and help drive key processes and procedures. Responsibilities:Work with engineering throughout SDLC to gather info for test cases and minimize back end critical path Help create the functional tests of new features as well as focusing efforts on regression, performance, and scalability testing Assist QA Manager to implement an automation strategy that minimizes the probability of product regression issues Interact with customers on product issues

Requirements: 6+ years overall QA experience (whitebox, blackbox, and automation exp required) 4+ years direct experience ensuring the quality of Microsoft-based products (IIS, SQL Server, etc.) Familiar with web-based applications and/or hosted solutions (ASP, ISP, MSP) Good understanding of change control processes BS in a technical field preferred
