Sr. RPG Programmer/Business Analyst/Project Manager

As an individual contributor, provide development, maintenance, and enhancement of business applications, providing specialized technical or business knowledge to projects. This position may also direct the efforts of IT colleagues and/or contractors in the execution of projects. Collaborates with company customers, staff members, IT colleagues, and other stakeholders to define detailed customer requirements, design and develop technical solution. Design, construct, implement and support systems solutions, provide maintenance and support for existing production applications. Provide project documents and deliverables. Monitor and clearly communicate status of projects. Act as internal consultant, providing technical guidance or business process expertise. Foster and maintain good relationships with customers and IT colleagues to meet expected customer service levels. Provide technical leadership on projects and create comprehensive project documentation by developing project plans, gap analysis, design documents, and process flows. Plan, facilitate, and participate in business requirement and definition sessions with cross-functional resources. Assist and coordinate user acceptance testing and ensure issues are resolved before implementation. Establish and maintain strong working relationships with external and internal customers. Serve as a liaison between company business units and Information Technology. Daily monitoring WM processing to ensure all DC processes run efficiently and without problems. Proactively search for continuous improvements to enhance performance and functionality. Provide timely communication to management, reporting project status or any issues that could impact the overall project or have a business impact. Qualifications: BS in Computer/Information Science or equivalent. MBA is highly desirable. At least 5 years experience in business system analysis in a large-scale environment across multiple platforms and/or 5 years business unit experience that includes working closely with IS in the development and implementation of large scale systems. Three to five years experience in project management. Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle required. Three to five years experience with relationship management, project leadership and successful project management. Understanding of distribution, logistics, and warehouse management concepts is required. Three to five years experience of PkMS/WMS is required. Knowledge of barcode printers/scanners/RF-devices and interaction with material handling systems is desirable. Working knowledge of AS/400 and applications using CL, RPGIII, IV, ILE and SQL 400 required. Possesses good knowledge of order management, order fulfillment and supply chain business processes. Strong technical knowledge and ability to express complex technical concepts in terms understandable to the business. Effective written, oral communications and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a multi-tasking environment, working independently and prioritizing work.
