Sr. SQA Engineer

Our client is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Engineer to participate in all aspects of testing and maintain quality standards for products written in Java and C++.

 

Responsibilities:

Review requirements, functional specifications and designs for new features and develop test specifications for functional testing.

Design test cases, create and maintain test data, execute tests, and document and report test results.

Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and recommend corrective action.

Consult with development engineers in resolution of problems.

Technical Skills:

Windows, UNIX, and Linux operating systems and related hardware.

Working knowledge of Apache, Tomcat and IBM WebSphere.

Working knowledge of Java, JavaScript, and JSP.

Experience with Junit and IntelliJ.

Experience with OpenLDAP or Novell e-Directory.

Experience using automated tools a plus.

 

Education / Experience:

BS in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent experience.

Minimum 3-5 years experience with software life cycle and QA processes.

Experience in a software development environment.
