Sr. Software Architect

Our client located in Alpharetta, GA is looking for a Senior Software Architect.

This person will be responsible for designing and implementing Business Objects universes, developing reports for multiple internal and external clients, and maintaining universes and reports.

Responsible for entire systems development lifecycle for BO implementation, including: requirements, design, implementation, testing, tuning, troubleshooting and documentation. Implementations will be on data warehouse environments based on Oracle 9i.

This position will serve as subject matter expert and mentor within Database Solutions group for client BO implementations. This person will interface with external clients, internal and external business and data analysts, developers and other IT staff to complete assignments.

' Experience creating and customizing complex universes
based on data warehouse environments.
' 3-5 years experience in Business Objects Report
development (WEBI and full client) and Universe design
' Oracle, Unix, SQL, stored procedures
' 3-5 years SQL programming experience
' Designing and developing Data Models within a
data warehouse environment.
' Database marketing or CRM experience
' Strong support and customer service orientation.
' Ability to develop work plans and follow through
on assignments with minimal guidance.
' Must be goal-orientated and with a strong focus on results.
