Sr. Software Design Engineer - JAVA

Responsibilities: W-2 CONTRACT ONLY. NO H1 sponsorship or corp-to-corp (1099) contracts for this position.

Will be responsible for the design and development of business components in web-based and SWING applications. Will interface with Lead Architects to create design and development tasks from functional requirements. Work with management to ensure deadlines are met and accurate status is reported. Design and develop software systems using Java JSP STRUTS EJB JMS the J2EE framework XML HTML. Must be able to create OO designs from business requirements and communicate those designs to other members of the team

Experience:

5 years of experience in full life-cycle web-based product development
3 years of experience developing internet e-comerce applications and SWING client applications
3 years Java programming and design required
3 years EJB programming required
3 years JMS programming required
3 years experience in developing J2EE solutions using application servers -- preferably BEA Weblogic
3 years experience with Oracle databases
5 years experience developing applications using OOA/OOD and UML
Working experience using RUP is a plus
