Sr. Software Developer, C#
Be a part of a Talented Development Team working on the latest technology for high growth business within the New Business Implementation Launch Pad. The Senior Developer is responsible for the design, development, implementation and customization of hardware and software system elements. Participates in all phases of software solutions lifecycle for new product development and upgrades. This position will apply an in-depth knowledge of process engineering/automation concepts, practices and procedures.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Mentor other team members and collaborate with team on requirements.
Evaluate and/or conduct testing of hardware/software products.
Preparation of detailed program specifications. Responsible for following configuration management procedures for changes.
Participation in the development and preparation of documentation for procedural, program and user documentation.
Design, develop and implement databases and database dictionaries.
Work with users to ensure successful system implementation.
May provide support information or write portions of technical proposals.
Maintain state-of-the-art knowledge and compile technical information into recommendations and analyses.
Perform all development tasks on time to meet business requirements.
EDUCATION
Bachelor?s degree in a related technical field or equivalent work experience. Minimum 2 years of progressively responsible related technical experience, including experience developing large, technically complex systems.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to travel within the United States and internationally on occasion.
Must have experience in all stages of the software development life cycle including planning/analysis, design/development, testing, documentation and implementation.
Must have extensive experience with .NET technology and C#.
Database experience is required.
Knowledge of SQL Server to include designing tables, indexes, views, stored procedures, user defined functions, replication and tuning.
