Basic Purpose:  Develop, maintain, enhance, and trouble shoot business applications for AEIS.  Responsible for being the subject matter expert in the AEIS application and able to provide technical direction to other developers, contractors, and vendors.

 

 

Reporting & Working Relationships:  Reports directly to the VP of IT.  Strong cross-functional relationships across the organization, particularly with Information Technology, Operations, Sales, and Marketing.

 

 

Primary Responsibilities 

? Responsible for development and maintenance of the JAVA/J2EE web based delivery applications. Work with technical leads and business partners to understand and shape business requirements, design and implement solutions in line with AEIS standards.

 

 

 

 

 

? Able to work independently on concurrent phases of various projects, including requirement analysis, design, build, test, implementation, and maintenance. Work with the project management team, defining development tasks, developing accurate work-effort estimates, identifying & resolving issues and providing status. Contribute to the development of architecture and design documents, user manuals, management reports and other technical documentation.

 

 

 

? Ensure that proper application development methodology is followed for qualitative, on-time project delivery. Must be able to interface with end-user business and technology customers in an effective and positive manner.

 

 

 

? Interface with vendor partners and other technology teams to integrate business solutions for AEIS.
