Sr. Software Engineer – routing/signaling protocol development

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Develop application software for the Tellabs 7100 Optical Transport System. Specific responsibilities will include software development and unit testing of the ASON/GMPLS Control Plane SNMP MIB interfaces. Additional duties may include participation in design reviews, troubleshooting and engineering support.



QUALIFICATIONS:

A minimum of 3-5 years experience developing telecomm products using C/C++, preferably for SNMP APIs and/or SNMP agents. Experience in embedded real time OS; protocols such as TCP, UDP, IP, SNMP, OSPF, RSVP, and/or SS7. SONET/DWDM knowledge. Additional Desired Qualifications: Education: BSEE/BSCS or equivalent experience required.
