Title: Sr. Software Engineer # 59606
Location: Ithaca, NY
General Summary: As a Software Engineer within Autodesk Collaboration Services division, you will be working with a highly experienced and talented software engineers responsible for architecting, designing, developing and maintaining the Autodesk DWF products including Autodesk DWF Toolkit, Viewer and Composer.
Responsibilities: Design and implementation of features and sub-systems within the DWF family of products Writing technical design documents, Developing estimates for tasks, Documenting code according to the prevalent style Support internal and cross-divisional groups using core DWF technology Work with cross-functional product team including Product Design, Product Marketing and QA Participate in Design and Code reviews to ensure that our design and code meets high standards
Skills/Requirements: Significant experience in C++ (10+ years) developing software for commercial products using Windows (Win32) development environment. Linux and Mac OSX a plus. Experience in ATL, COM, C#, .NET, XML. Experience in using UML and Object Oriented Design principles Experience developing Graphics Applications, background in CAD highly desirable Ability to architect and design sub-systems and small applications Experience with developing and re-factoring code into components, interfaces and APIs Strong background in data structures and algorithm design Experience working in a geographically distributed team environment Basic project management and good documentation skills desirable Excellent oral and written communication skills Good analytical and problem solving skills Engineering Degree (preferably Computer Science, Mathematics or Mechanical) with 10+ years professional software development experience
