Sr. Software Engineer - Machine Control
We are currently seeking a Senior level Software Engineer with a strong background in machine / motion control (hardware) software development. All interested potential candidates, please submit your resume directly to: Allen.Fernandez@kla-tencor.com for consideration.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Self-starter and a problem solver who will be responsible for developing machine control, motion control, wafer handling diagnostics and calibration software on the current and next generations e-beam inspection equipment.
Work closely with HW/System engineers to gather inspection system requirements, create software designs, generate code and perform unit tests, integrate with hardware, trouble shoot problems, and train internal and external users.
Required to work closely with HW/Systems engineers, SQC engineers, Field Service engineers and customers. So strong communication and people skills are required.
QUALIFICATIONS
MS/PhD in EE/ME/Physics/CS with 5+ years experience or BS in the similar disciplines with 8+ years work experience
Minimum 5 Years of Object Oriented software development experience using Java, .net or C++
Minimum 3 years of machine/hardware control software development and integration experience
Experience with motion control, machine diagnostics and calibration software development or experience with semiconductor equipment, factory automation, and wafer handling system a plus. Please visit us at www.kla-tencor.com/careers
