Sr. Software QA Engineer – Biometrics/Cutting Edge Technology

Pay By Touch is leading the introduction of payment systems using fingerprint biometrics in retails stores. Today, over 1,500 grocery stores, convenience stores, liquor stores and banks are using Pay by Touch services.

 

We are growing fast and urgently need a senior QA Engineer experienced with both white box and black box testing, to develop and enhance test plans, create test cases and data, and execute tests in a fast-paced, start-up environment. You will be interacting with developers, business representatives, and customers. 

 

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

 

4 to 6 years experience as a Software QA Engineer.

 

Ability to develop and execute test plans for both manual and automated testing.

 

Solid knowledge of UNIX (Linux), Win2K/XP, CVS, Bugzilla, ANT. Perl scripting a plus

 

Experience developing and executing stress/load/performance tests.

 

Preferred experience:

C, C++, Java, WebSphere Application Server, Oracle 9i and DB2.

 

Highly organized, detail-oriented, ability to prioritize and to meet deadlines.

 

Excellent communications skills.

 

B.S. in CS or related field
