We are currently hiring for the position listed below in our Event and Capacity Planning Group.? The goal of this group is to provide short term and long term forecasting for component and engine removals.? In addition, the group is responsible for maintaining the spare engine level to balance cost and service to the airline.? In essence, the group is to optimize the engine and component maintenance schedule for the division while maintaining high quality, safety, and reliability for United Services.

As a Senior Staff Coordinator you will be responsible for driving capacity planning for Engine and Component maintenance to achieve targeted spare engine levels and a balanced workload while minimizing cost and maximizing service.?

Assigned a specific product type or production area to plan and forecast volumes.
Provides daily 90-day, weekly 180-day, monthly 365-day and yearly 6-year operational outlooks/forecasts (removal schedule, production schedule, spares level, manpower, etc.) for United Services Division of United Airlines.
Creates removal plan to level workload within shop.? Works with Production and Maintenance Control to ensure plan is implemented.
Provides decision making support at production and planning meetings.
Conducts weekly forecast meetings with stakeholders (Production, Engineering, Production Support, Financial Planning, etc.) to ensure resources are planned properly.
Analyzes future over/under capacity conditions. Conducts own/lease trade-off analyses and works with stakeholders to resolve short-term and long-term capacity issues.
Operates capacity models and works toward developing and refining models, including automation opportunities.
Conducts manpower analysis to assist Production with re-alignment of resources, ensuring shifts in workload are properly resourced.
Provides Sales and Marketing with capacity analysis to focus sales force efforts.
Provides the Product Team with volume, lease and route forecasts for the annual budget and monthly forecast.
Works with Maintenance to validate forecasts by gathering input on tactical production issues and manpower constraints.
Works with Engineering to validate removal forecasts by soliciting input on reliability or airworthiness issues.
Validates accuracy of production data to ensure that reporting, planning and analysis is pertinent

Education:BS/BA degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, or Aeronautical Engineering.??Experience:Analytical/Simulation/Statistical skills. Financial (cost/benefit) analysis skills. Strategic or maintenance planning, production control, operations, or supply chain management 3-5 years preferred. Engine removal forecasting preferred?????
