Sr. Staff Engineer
Title: Sr. Staff EngineerLocation: Reston, VAOther: U.S. Citizenship required,must be able to obtain and maintain an TS/SCI access. Some travel required Duties: Design, develop and maintain code in C++ and Java under MS Windows. Create and maintain administrative tools and installers. Identify and implement algorithms related to image processing.
Requirements:
BS/BA in computer related. Ongoing training related to image processing algorithms.
Ongoing training related to XML, HTML, MS Visual Studio, Image Manipulation, CORBA, GIAS, NITF, JPEG, MPEG, Unix/Solaris.

3-5 years with more than one of: C++, C, Java, MS Windows development.
Experience in client-server environment.
1+ years working with more than one image format (NITF, JPEG, etc.)
Experience with optical (and other bands) image processing and manipulation.
HTTP and other protocols.
Experience with asymmetric comms a plus. Knowledge of CMMI a plus.
Development on Sun Solaris platforms a plus.
Experience of developing image viewers a plus.
