Sr. Systems Engineer (ORIG)

In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical consulting services to implement, troubleshoot and support Deltek ERP applications. Specifically, you will be involved with: configuring and installing hardware/3rd party software, integrating hardware/3rd party software at customer sites, making recommendations to clients on systems required to run Deltek applications, upgrading customer applications when new versions are released, addressing networking/security/performance considerations, handling advanced technical support issues, documenting client engagements, and assisting in development of new technical service offerings that can expand consulting services.

Ideal candidate will have:

* 4+ years of hands-on experience in networking, server hardware, third-party software, and RDBMS
* Excellent communication skills (both oral & written)
* 2+ years of hands-on experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Microsoft SQL Server
* Knowledgeable in backup and recovery methodologies
* Must be team-oriented
* Must be willing to travel 30-40% nationwide
