Sr. Visual Basic Developer

Job Description:
Developer will be responsible for following the corporate methodology in the efforts to design, architect and build solutions for a major release of a VB application (PullSheets) that will be either single or combined Team member lead initiatives.
Specific responsibilities for this role include:
"h Define requirements for an audit trail, including defining the need for auditing processes as well as data.
"h Define database audit data structures.
"h Create triggers that populate these structures.
Other responsibilities include participate in various phases of the developmetn lifecycle and actively participate in generating ideas for solutions.

Job Experience:
Minimum 5 years of:
"h VisualBasic 6 (including time spent in prior versions)
"h Relational Database (Oracle or Sybase preferred), SQL"h COM+
"h Application development experience
"h Ability to develop time estimates for project schedules, monitor progress and provide accurate and timely reports using the corporate Methodology
"h Experience designing audit trail structures and database triggers

"h A minimum of 8 years IT experience on multiple platforms/technologies
"h Ability to prioritize and multi-task
"h Ability to provide Leadership within a specific technology area, or across multiple technology areas, to complete root-cause
analysis, design solutions, write code, perform testing, provide documentation, and implement large / multiple development projects.
"h Experience working through all phases of the System Development Life Cycle
"h Strong written and verbal communication skills
"h Ability to work well with Customers at all levels (Leadership and Non-Leadership) and proven success doing so
"h Ability to work well with other Technology Teams and proven success doing so
"h Ability and willingness to mentor others
"h Ability to think outside of the box
"h Team Player - is supportive of and contributes to a Team approach and has proven success doing so
