Our Technology team is seeking an experienced, results-oriented Senior Microsoft Web Application Developer with at least 10 years of experience in client-server, web application development with 7+ years focusing on developing complex web applications using Microsoft IIS, ASP.NET, C#, C++, VB, VBScript, Javascript, XML, DHTML, AJAX, Microsoft SQL Server and best of breed tools & technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of cross-browser compatibility issues, browser degradation strategies, optimization techniques, accessibility techniques, device-portability techniques, and internationalization issues.
Job Description:
The chosen individual will be responsible for designing and developing our core application framework while playing a key role in the development of new on-demand web applications for measuring, managing and marketing more than $5 billion per year in non-linear advertising, brand integration opportunities across TV, film, music and video game industries.
Candidate Requirements:
? MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent
? At least 10+ years experience in client-server, multi-tier web application development
? At least 7+ years experience in developing complex web applications using Microsoft IIS, ASP.NET, C#, C++, VB, VBScript, Javascript, XML, DHTML, AJAX, Microsoft SQL Server and best of breed tools & technologies.
? Strong command of JavaScript, DHTML, AJAX, DOM Levels 0-2, CSS, cross-browser compatibility issues, browser degradation strategies, optimization techniques (both in file weight and perceived/actual rendering speed), accessibility techniques, device-portability techniques, and internationalization issues.
? At least 4-5 years experience working at a single company building product(s) from concept to completion across multiple releases and several dot releases
? Ability to develop efficient & well-documented code
? Strong understanding of database design. Working knowledge of the SQL server 2000.
? Experience with XML related technologies and Service Oriented Architectures (SOAs)
? Ability to write design documents, technical functional specifications and communicate effectively with rest of the organization
? Experience with agile development processes (such as SCRUM) in addition to traditional software development methodologies and processes. Experience with the full life cycle of web application development
? Strong attention to detail. Dedication to completing work on time-sensitive projects
? Experience with Java, J2EE, IBM Websphere, BEA WebLogic, Linux, Apache, JBoss, MySQL,
? Hibernate and Perl is a plus, but, not required
