Storage Architects are technology-focused individuals who have skills and experience working with corporate information system technologies. They should be comfortable describing and demonstrating computer and networking technologies to all audiences. In addition, they should have a proven track record of successful system design, implementation, and problem solving with the ability to quickly understand customer environments to offer innovative solutions.

The ideal candidate must have at least five years of pertinent job related experience and must be an independent, motivated self-starter able to present technical information in a strong compelling manner. Corporate consulting experience along with project management is a necessity. The candidate should also be able to create written material with accuracy and confidence.

The following experience and skills are required:
? Windows NT system administration.
? UNIX system administration.
? Expertise in storage technologies such as RAID, SCSI, Fiber Channel, Tape Libraries and backup software.
? Expertise in network technologies, including the ability to install and configure common network components such as switches, routers, firewalls and network monitoring tools.
? The ability to understand and analyze common Internet protocols is a plus.
? Knowledge of common data center applications, such as messaging and database products, will be a plus.
