Supply Chain Software Engineer

IM Flash Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer to own development of supply chain management solutions.  IM Flash Technologies is a Joint Venture between Intel Corporation and Micron Corporation. 

 

As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for development of Supply Chain Management applications to support measurement, tracking and planning of product. In this position, you will establish and maintain a strong working relationship with Planning and Supply Chain Management users to identify business requirements and opportunities for improvement. This development will take place in a rapid prototyping environment with a need to establish and maintain ties with Information Systems organization to transition ownership and maintain ongoing support. You will be expected to gain experience with existing data systems and roadmaps to assure proper solution integration. You will be part of a team of data management and decision automation experts responsible for system and modeling support. You will need to communicate status to customers and management and participate in software deployment and release activities.




Qualified candidates will have experience/education with application and database design and proficient development experience using the following technologies: client/server and web development, VB/C#/C++, HTML/ASP.Net, SQL (including stored procedures).  In addition to technical expertise, the ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills as well as solid problem solving and analytical skills.  Must be self motivated, have strong multi-tasking capabilities, and driven to consistently achieve desired results. Ideal candidate will have experience with existing Micron data systems and with Operations Research and Supply Chain management applications.


Required Education:
BS in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent experience.
